Lond due updates

There has not been much to report. Jeff has decided to switch oncologist and will now be seeing Dr. Raonak Ekram at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. You can click on her name to find out information about her.
Additionally, Jeff has seen an ear nose and throat (ENT) doctor in regards to his thyroid nodule. The ENT doctor is Dr. Reussner and he was the same one that took care of Jeff when he had an ear infection a few months ago. He is great! (in my opinion). During the doctor visit he became more concerned about the size of Jeff's tonsils then the nodule. The size of the nodule has not changed for about a year and that is why he is less concerned with it. Once we get the okay from Dr. Dillon (Jeff's primary) and his new oncologist, Jeff will have surgery to remove his tonsils and have a surgical biopsy done on the thyroid nodule.
We are also scheduled to see an orthopedic surgeon at KU Med in hopes that he will be able to figure something out with Jeff's back pain. When I finish this blog I will be updating the calendar of his schedules. Hope all is well with everyone.
