The Pain Worsens

Jeff started the methadone switch on Friday. It seems as though there has been some pain relief, but he is still not able to go outside and ride in a car. Every so often he can make it downstairs. It is too painful for him to stand for too long. This is where I see some able to see some improvement, although slight. He can stand up for just a minute longer or maybe walk down the stairs an extra time. The transition is scheduled to take place over 10 days. They might have to adjust his methadone dose towards the end for better pain management. I think that is all for now.. Take care everyone and I hope all is well.
